DIGITAL NOMAD VISA (D8)
DIGITAL NOMAD Visa in Portugal is a relatively new type of visa that allows remote workers or freelancers to live and work in Portugal for up to 1 year or apply for a residence permit to stay in the country for a longer period. This program was developed in response to the increasing popularity of digital nomadism, amidst growing employer support for remote work, and primarily aims to attract highly skilled IT professionals.

The price of this service includes consulting and support of a lawyer in obtaining a D7 visa for further independent submission of documents for obtaining a residence permit in Portugal.
MAIN REQUIREMENTS FOR OBTAINING A D8 VISA:
- Remote work;
- Confirmation of income of at least €3280 per month;
- Confirmation of a bank account balance of no less than €9840;
- Income requirement in case of dependents as of 2024:
- spouse - additional €410 per month,
- child - additional €246 per month.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR D8 VISA APPLICATION:
- Application form
- All valid foreign passports and copies thereof
- 2 passport-sized photographs
- Valid medical insurance
- Certificate of no criminal record from the country of origin
- Request for criminal record check in Portugal
- Documents confirming rental or ownership rights to property in Portugal
- Documents confirming income level
- Official confirmation of tax residency in a country other than Portugal
- Confirmation of round-trip ticket.
