REGISTRATION OF A CHANGE IN THE COMPANY NAME
If you decide to change the name of an existing company, such changes must be registered in Portugal. If the new name is not selected from a ready-made list, it must be additionally checked for uniqueness. To avoid complications, we recommend consulting with leading corporate lawyers.

Changes to company data can be combined if two or more parameters need to be changed at the same time. In such cases, the commission is lower than the sum of the commissions for several separate submissions. Therefore, we recommend that if there are any other changes that require registration, they should be done comprehensively.

TO MAKE CHANGES TO THE COMPANY’S REGISTRATION DATA, THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS MUST BE PROVIDED:
- Articles of association (PACTO SOCIAL);
- Certificate of registration or extract from the Register of Legal Entities (Certidão de Registo or Certidão Permanente)
- Extract from the Central Register of Ultimate Beneficial Owners (RCBE)
- New company name.
